HMSHost in India

HMSHost made its first foray into India in December 2006, at Bangalore International Airport. Today, we are present in six Indian airports with 51 stores, 49 of which operate in the F&B field. HMSHost has gradually established itself within the Indian airport-dining sector as the market leader with a strengthened international experience. The in-depth knowledge of the travellers’ needs, the partnership with internationally renowned brands, and the possibility to modify the trade offer according to the distinctiveness of each stop, have led HMSHost to be successful even among Indian passengers, offering catering options in line with the country’s trends in food and taste. Not only have we introduced ad hoc concepts inspired by the national traditional cuisine, such as Taste of India or Idli Factory inside Indian airports, but also famous international brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, and Illy. We have done this in response to the demand for new experiences and western flavours, such as pizza and coffee, which are becoming increasingly popular Asian customers.
