HMSHost wins major tenders in Middle East and India with total contracts valued at approximately 200 million euro

Food Village of 1720 m2 in DXB T3, Concourse C, 9 stores, 7-year contract, total contract value of 84 million euro - DXB T3, Concourse A and T2, 5 stores, with duration between 3 and 5 years, total contract value of 47 million euro - Shantiniketan Shopping Plaza Bangalore India, 7 stores, 9-year contract, total contract value of 29 million euro - Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai Airports India, 20 stores, with contract duration varying between 3 and 5 years, with total contract value of 39 million euro

Schiphol, July 4, 2019 – HMSHost International, global market leader in the food and hospitality industry for people on the move, is extensively expanding its operations with 14 stores in the Middle East at the world's busiest international airport, Dubai International (DXB) and in India by opening seven stores in Bangalore Shopping Plaza this year and winning contracts for 20 stores across Bangalore Airport, Delhi Airport, Hyderabad Airport and Mumbai Airport.

Dubai Terminal 3, Concourse C 
The nine new food & beverage brands that will open in the Food Village are at the forefront of innovative dining trends at both local and international levels, providing great new dining destinations for the travellers at DXB. New dining options at Terminal 3, Concourse C, will include strong international brands such as KFC, Heineken Bar, Panda and McDonalds. The wraps of Qfta appeal to the needs of local customers, while Taste of India brings the bustle of Indian street food culture to Dubai Airport. For flat breads, tarts and other sweets, Flour & Stone is the place to go, and the Food Village is complemented with Pop-top for home-made gelato and Italian coffee as well as Mobile Carts to serve the peaks.

Dubai Terminal 3, Concourse A 
In Concourse A, HMSHost will open three new outlets across a total of 603 m2. The opening of Comptoir Libanais will mark chain’s first store outside of Europe. The store will bring guests the taste of Lebanese cuisine and warm Middle-Eastern hospitality, with menu also available in a grab & go format. The finest Italian wines and craft beers will be served at Bottega Prosecco Bar and Craft Beer, while an additional Jones the Grocer Express store will also open in this concourse.

Dubai Terminal 2 
The tender in Terminal 2 opens up the opportunity to create two new food & beverage locations. The proven success brand, Jones the Grocer Express, will open a 162 sqm store. Established in 1996 with the launch of the flagship Australian store in Woollahra, Sydney, Jones the Grocer will provide a range of portable menu items like their famous single origin coffees, croissants, muffins, sandwiches, salads, soups and hearty mains to travellers at Dubai Airport. Meanwhile, the ultimate taste of India can be found at Roti Bhai, where Indian street wraps are made fresh daily and packaged ready for immediate take away, perfect for passengers in transit.

Bangalore Shopping Plaza, India 
Perfectly positioned in the Prestige Shantiniketan Forum Mall on Whitefield Main Road, HMSHost opened six new restaurants to create a new culinary benchmark for the shopping mall visitors in Bangalore. Tiffin Express and Taste of India serve the all-time favourite local Indian dishes. While for those hungering for global staples, the timeless delight of Noodles, KFC, Domino’s Pizza and Burger King add some international flair. At summer start Mango Chili will open its doors. The fun, exciting and authentic Thai restaurant concept from Mango Tree allows global diners to experience Thai cuisine just as the locals do.

The new nine-year contract confirms the continuation of growth in India. HMSHost International has also secured a number of different contracts in the key airports of Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai with durations between 3 years and 5 years.

Bangalore Airport India
In Bengaluru Airport India, HMSHost has opened three stores in the airport’s landside arrivals. We have opened with our own Harvest Market, a crowd pleaser Pizza Hut and purveyor of south Indian cuisine, Ooru Canteen which has been developed together with the airport and offers 100% vegetarian menu.

Delhi Airport India 
In Delhi Airport India, after successfully re-entering the airport in 2017 HMSHost will open an additional nine new outlets. Across the Airport Connect Building and Metro Station Terminal Three the company will open a global favourite Pizza Hut and two Café Espresso’s. In SHA Terminal 3 coffee lovers will rejoice with the opening of three Café Espresso’s, two Chaayos – a popular local tea café chain, and the ever popular grab-and-go concept Urban Food Market.

Hyderabad Airport India 
In Hyderabad Airport India, HMSHost will extend on their current contract in Domestic Departures, two stores from the worldwide sandwich chain Subway, alongside the family friendly Tiffin Express and cosy Café Espresso.

Mumbai Airport India 
In Mumbai Airport India, HMSHost recently re-entered the airport with four stores in Terminal 1B. Bringing local cuisine to the forefront with Gujarati Svado, ever popular global pizza chain Pizza Hut, local favourite Taste of India, and the exciting specialised offer of the Idli and Dosa Factory, shining the spotlight on cult classics idli and dosa’s.
