Yesterday, the prestigious annual Schiphol Business Awards were announced by Royal Schiphol Group. We are delighted to share that this year we received two awards: our Food Professionals were awarded the Team Spirit Award. This team of enthusiastic Food Professionals are being trained in-house by HMSHost to become the chefs of the future. They are ambassadors for the hospitality industry, showcasing perfect host qualities and sharing knowledge with their teams.
HMSHost received the Innovation Award for the sustainable concept ‘Soup & Bakery by De Verspillingsfabriek’ that opened its doors in February 2019 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. A joint approach of Royal Schiphol Group, De Verspillingsfabriek and HMSHost International to the project really allows true change to be realised, and demonstrates how we can waste neither food nor talent, but rather deploy them to create new products. This store is the perfect example of sustainability and it shows that we are taking care of the world around us.
