HMSHost International created the concept and design for The Gorgeous Kitchen. We then invited four British female chefs to compose the menu with us – and attach their names to the brand. Gee Charman, former Kensington Palace chef; Sophie Michell, executive chef of Pont St at Belgraves Hotel; Jo Pratt, best-selling author of In the Mood for Food and former Food Editor of ELLE and Glamour; and mumtrepreneur Caroline Mi Li Artiss. The restaurant opened at Heathrow’s regenerated ‘Queen’s Terminal’ in 2014 and was named The World’s Number 1 Airport Restaurant [CW1] Our concept was an all-day dining experience, imbuing wholesome and seasonal global cuisine with British-grown produce. A veritable sanctuary for Terminal 2’s departing passengers, it draws business men and women, families and solo travellers alike.
